When downloading Harassment Prevention SCORM file from Ethena, you can choose between two options: I want learners to select their location and role, or I will manually assign tracks to learners in my LMS. If you choose the first option, you'll receive one SCORM file that can be sent to all team members regardless of role/location. If you choose the second option, you'll receive individual files for each Harassment Prevention track (more information on tracks here).
How to download SCORM with a role/location picker
If you have purchased access to SCORM files in Ethena, you can follow these instructions to locate the files. Once you do so, you'll see the above screenshot when you choose to download Harassment Prevention SCORM files.
Why to choose the role/location picker vs. separate files
Most companies' decision around the role/location picker comes down to two things: LMS complexity and reporting granularity.
- LMS complexity: Depending on your LMS, it may be challenging to set up role- and location-based enrollment groups for each individual Harassment Prevention track. If that's the case for you, letting learners self-select removes this complexity and allows you to send one file to all employees.
- Reporting granularity: One benefit of separate files for each track is clear reporting within your LMS of which version of training each user completed. With the consolidated picker file, it won't be as clear within your LMS whether someone selected the 'right' training for their role (though more granular reporting is available in Ethena; contact your CSM for details).
The role/location picker experience
When a learner launches a SCORM training that includes the picker, they'll see a screen that looks like this:
Once they select their country, state (if US-based), and manager status, they'll need to attest that the information they provided is correct. After they select 'Confirm', they'll be taken to the correct version of training that's most relevant to them.
