Setting up a pilot training campaign
Some admins choose to send training to a pilot group before rolling it out more broadly. Here are instructions on how to set up a pilot assignment.
- Navigate to the admin dashboard, select Add Training, and choose a course name.
- Select Custom Training Campaign. See full instructions here.
-
Choose the modules you’d like these pilot users to receive. For most courses, the “Foundations” module is the core, fundamental content that all learners would receive in an Ethena Training Campaign.
- 💡 Ethena tip: Pay attention to which modules are included within your selection, so that you don’t accidentally include duplicate content.
- Select a campaign name and date. Make sure to select “Do not repeat” for the cadence.
- In the Manage Learners section, select One-Time Population.
- You can then upload a CSV or select individual team members from your team list.
- Complete all the other settings for your campaign and then select “Save”.
Learners will receive a new training notification at 10am in their local time zone on the launch date you specified.
If you would like to then add people into the campaign later on, you can do so by editing the campaign and adding the additional people you would like to also take training.
Pilot campaign considerations:
- The above steps are great for a larger pilot group where you’ll want users to get the full training experience, including automated notifications & completion tracking. If you’d rather just provide a quick way for the pilot group to review content, consider sending a preview link instead. Preview links can be found at the “Select content” stage of the campaign creation process.
- If you do ask a group to pilot a training, you may want to mark them as completed once you launch the campaign to your full organization.
