Custom AI Video Generation

Overview

Custom content now includes an AI video generation feature that lets you create AI-generated videos directly within your course modules without leaving the slide editor.

Generating an AI Video

1. Open or create your module in the within custom courses in the Content Library.
2. Add a new slide and navigate to the Video template. You'll see two new slide types, each marked with an AI icon:
   • AI Video Only — a standalone video slide
   • AI Video and Text — a video slide with an accompanying text block

3. Select the slide type you want:

   

4. Fill in the title and prompt describing the video you want generated.

   

5. (Optional) Attach supporting files using the plus symbol underneath. You can upload things like a script or an image of a CEO or other leader to feature. Supported formats: DOCX, PDF, PNG, JPEG.

6. Set your video styling. You can describe styling requirements directly in your prompt — there's also built-in guidance in the slide editor to help:

   

7. Choose an orientation(landscape or portrait).
8. Save the slide to kick off generation. Saving is what starts the job so confirm your inputs before saving. There's a callout in the editor reminding you of this.
9. Wait for the video to generate. Turnaround is typically under 10 minutes, after which the finished video appears on the slide.

Context-Aware Generation

The generator pulls in more than just your prompt. It automatically incorporates context from:

• Surrounding slides in the same module
• The associated course
• Text blocks on the same slide (when using the AI Video and Text slide type)

The more relevant context on and around the slide, the better the output. You don't need to repeat information that's already present elsewhere in your course.

Languages and Captions

Translated transcripts are available after you publish the module — provided you've opted in to Ethena's AI translation feature for custom content. Captions are generated and available once the module is published; they aren't surfaced to learners in the app until then.

Current Availability

This feature currently lives in the slide editor only.
