Editing a custom training campaign's content after it has been assigned

If you've already sent out a Custom Training Campaign and need to revise the content, you can easily do so. Please see below for instructions on how to add or remove content from a Custom Training Campaign.

The steps

1. Go to the course catalog page and find the custom course you would like to update!
2. Once here, Add the new module/updated one. Click "Add new module" and upload your file here.
3. Once this is done, you will want to got back to the training campaign and then edit. Once on the edit page, select the Content option shown here:
   
4. Once you update the content, you'll be presented with two options:
   
   
   1. Update content for future assignments. Those already in training or finished will retain their records and won't be assigned new content.
      • This option ensures that anyone who's already completed the training or who is currently in progress won't have to restart.
      • Anyone who hasn't yet started the training, but is already assigned, will receive the new content version.
   2. Incomplete training will be removed and new content will be assigned. All records will be retained.
      • This option will reassign the training to all users, regardless of progress, to ensure they've taken the latest version of the training.
      • Use this if there's been a critical update that all learners should receive, regardless of training status.
        
        
5. You will then be prompted if you would like to either:
   
   1. Send this out for future assignments only. It will not send out new content to those who have already completed or started training.
      This would be a good option if you do not want to send additional training to learners who have already completed the training campaign but would like new enrollees to be sent your updated course.
   2. If you would like all incomplete content to be removed and replaced with your updated content.
      In our example we're going to select this option to send out the changes we have made to the content of the training campaign.
      
      
      
6. Once this is done, you are finished! Your new module will be ready for your team to undertake!
