Having trouble logging into Ethena? If you're running into an error message when attempting to log in, or are finding yourself in a loop, there are a few common reasons:
"Error logging you in. Please clear your cookies and try again."
You or someone in your team may have encountered this message when trying to sign into Ethena using Single Sign On (SSO). As a first step, it's worthwhile trying to open the link in a private browser window (such as Google Chrome's Incognito Mode) and then see if you are able to sign in there.
If this does not work, the most likely reason for this happening is that your email address in your company's SSO settings and the email address in your Ethena entry do not match. This frequently happens due to a recent email address or name change.
To resolve this, reach out to your Ethena admin(People/HR Team) to update your Ethena email address.
“Access Denied”
You may not have access to Ethena via your companies SSO.
To resolve this, reach out to your company's IT team to verify that you have access.
Login loop
Some learners with SSO run into a login loop, where they're taken to an SSO login screen, but once they authenticate, they're taken back to the Ethena admin login screen. If this happens to you, the likely cause is the same as the above -- there's an email address mismatch between your Ethena account and your SSO account.
To resolve this, reach out to your Ethena admin(People/HR Team) to update your Ethena email address.
"Account Not Found"
Learners can receive this error if they're attempting to access Ethena from the admin login flow rather than the learner login flow. Learners should ensure they're either going to the main training login page or clicking through an Ethena notification to be directed to the Learning Center.
If using Sequoia SSO and running into error messages you will want to reach out to appsupport@sequoia.com.
