General Definitions
- Completed date

The date that a learner has completed all modules within an assignment.
- Module Completed Date

The date that a learner has completed an individual module within an assignment.
- Length

Estimated time a learner will spend on an assignment. If an assignment has multiple modules, the assignment length is the sum of the estimated times for all modules within an assignment.
- Release Date

Date that an assignment was released to a learner.
Core Learning Assignment Reasons
- Recurring

Core learning assignment pushed by the auto-assigner.
- New Enrollment

Core learning assignment pushed by the auto-assigner when the training date has passed.
Supplemental Core Learning Assignment Reasons
Supplemental Core Learning:
Is an extension of core learning that is triggered when a learner changes roles or moves locations and has already been assigned Core Learning.
- Role Change

Supplemental core learning pushed by the auto-assigner when learner has started core learning and then changes roles. Visible in the learner list, marked on the learner’s profile, and noted on transcripts. For example, “role changed to manager.”
- Department Change

Supplemental core learning pushed by the auto-assigner when learner has started core learning and then changes departments. Visible in the learner list, marked on the learner’s profile and noted on the transcript. For example, “department changed to Engineering.”
- Location Change

Supplemental core learning pushed by the auto-assigner when learner has started core learning and then changes location. Visible in the learner list, marked on the learner’s profile, and noted on transcripts. For example, “location changed to NY.”
Continuous Learning Assignment Reasons
- Continuous Learning

A continuous learning assignment pushed by the auto-assigner based on a predetermined schedule. Continuous learning is assigned after Core learning.
- One-Time Assignment Reasons

Any learning assignment that is created manually by an admin.
Migrated Assignment Reasons
- Migration Core

Core learning migrated from previous Ethena.
- Migration Continuous Learning

Non-core learning migrated from previous Ethena.
Assignment Statuses
- User Completed
-
As soon as a learner completes the latest assigned batch of learning within an assignment, they will become Completed in that assignment. Appears as completed in the dashboard and learner profile.
- Admin Complete
-
This status is given to assignments that an admin has marked as completed on behalf of a learner at the module level.This is a permanent action.
- Within Deadline
-
Not completed, but the assignment deadline has not passed.
- Incomplete
-
Not completed and the assignment deadline has passed.
- Never Completed
-
If a learner has not completed their training from a recurring core learning assignment and the next training date has come to pass, the incomplete or partially completed training will be marked as “never completed.”
- System Removed
-
Training removed by the auto-assigner because it is no longer needed, likely due to role or location changes.
- Admin Removed
-
Admin removed modules will have this status, when an admin removes a module the training no longer appears in the learning center, the dashboard, or the learner profile.This is a permanent action.
- Migrated
-
This status is given to assignment that were migrated from previous Ethena
