When assigning training in Ethena, you'll have the option to set up an Ethena Training Campaign or a Custom Training Campaign. Most frequently, Ethena Training Campaigns are used for recurring annual training assignments. You can also use a Custom Training Campaign for a recurring annual training with content that's tailored to your organization.
In addition to annual training or new-hire training, many organizations choose to send additional training modules throughout the year. Many Ethena courses include 'mini-courses', which are bite-sized trainings (usually about 5 minutes in length) that are great for engaging your team in training on an ongoing basis.
How to assign additional training throughout the year
First, review Ethena's course catalog and select which modules you'd like to send out to your team. To do so, you can go to your admin dashboard and select Add Training > choose a course > Custom Training Campaign. You can then filter the available modules by 'Continuous Learning' to see which modules were designed to be sent out as supplemental training content.
You can preview the available modules and figure out a calendar for when you might like to send them out to your team. For example, a bi-monthly supplemental training calendar for Harassment Prevention might look something like this:
- January: Launch annual training
- March: Continuous Learning - Mental Health in the Workplace
- May: Continuous Learning - Allyship at Work
- July: Continuous Learning - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- September: Continuous Learning - Healthy Feedback Habits
- November: Continuous Learning - Women's Equal Pay Day
Once you decide which topics you'd like to train on, and at what cadence, you can set up training campaigns for each of those topics throughout the year. You can either set them up at the beginning of the year or schedule them ad hoc based on your team's evolving priorities. Full instructions for setting up a training campaign can be found here.
