You may be wondering "What is automated continuous learning? Do i need it? How do I turn it on?" and if so you have landed in the right place!
Because we know repetition drives retention, certain Ethena courses come with the option to send learners short (5-7 minute) modules a few times throughout the year automatically.
Each Continuous Learning contains one newly created module, so each trainnig will likely be under 5 minutes - they won’t take up too much time from your team and will keep these important topics top of mind!
Should you need to switch this on or off you can do so when creating a new Training Campaign or editing one that has already been created. This article shows you how to do just that in further detail:
How to toggle Continuous Learning on and off
Additionally, this article covers Editing a Training Campaign in general.
Please note that if your initial training data is within 30 days of an automated continuous learning assignment, it will not be scheduled.
When will you send these additional modules?
If you have enrolled in automated continuous learning for any applicable* Core Learning assignments, continuous learning assignments will be released automatically throughout the year to your learners according to the schedule at the bottom of this article. The exact release date for each module is in parentheses next to the designated month.
*Automated continuous learning can be turned on when setting up a recurring core learning assignment for DEI, Harassment Prevention, or ABAC courses only.
Who gets automated continuous learning?
The same learners enrolled in recurring Core Learning assignments with automated continuous learning turned on.
When will I see these trainings in the admin hub?
Approximately 90 days prior to the release date of an automated continuous learning assignment (release dates are noted below), a new assignment card will appear in the ‘Scheduled’ section of your admin dashboard. You can make any adjustments to this assignment up to 1 business day prior to the assignment’s scheduled release date, including completely removing it, modifying the included modules, and changing the learner audience.
Can I send these modules out as individual Training Campaigns to learners who onboarded after the date listed on the calendar?
You bet! Automated Continuous Learning modules are also added to the course content library, so you can assign them as one-off assignments as you see fit.
Below you can find Ethena's Continuous Learning Schedule for 2024! If your organization is enrolled in automated scheduling of continuous learning for any of your team's Ethena courses, continuous learning nudges will be released according to this schedule.
You can find the exact release date in parentheses next to the designated month.
A few weeks before the training is available, it will appear in your dashboard so that you can make any adjustments if needed.
