Ethena is getting a glow-up! In Q4 of this year, we are launching product improvements to make it even easier for your learners to get the right training, for the right people, at the right time. 

With these changes, admins will be able to: 

• Choose which continuous learning topics to send to employees for intentional training
• Access improved and streamlined reporting to make it even more seamless to assess completion rates
• Deliver more location-specific training to avoid overtraining

Learners will be able to:

• Complete a yearly course in one or multiple sittings
• Jump from course to course to complete assigned training
• Access just the right amount of training based on their location to reduce training fatigue

Updates to Ethena’s Pricing Model

What’s changing?

Effective October 15, 2022, Ethena is updating its pricing model for customers paying monthly via credit card. Currently, customers who pay this way pay individually per enrolled learner per course; under the new pricing model, you will pay per course for all active learners within Ethena.

What’s prompting this change?

With the upcoming Ethena Unlocked product changes mentioned above, you’ll receive access to a full library of content for every course you purchase. Having access to this content library will allow you to assign annual training and individual modules to all the learners at your organization, depending on their training needs. By purchasing a course, all its associated content will be unlocked for all of your learners and available for you to assign to them. 

This means that if you previously had 50 total learners enrolled in Harassment Prevention and 10 learners enrolled in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), in October, you will be able to assign content from both Harassment Prevention and DEI to all of the active learners within your Ethena account.

How will this impact me?

If you currently enroll all of your active learners in each Ethena course you’ve purchased, your monthly bill will remain the same!

If you currently only enroll a subset of your active learners in each course, your bill will change to include all active learners, instead of only learners enrolled in that course.

The table below shows an example of how this works for a customer with 50 total learners in Ethena. In the example, all 50 are enrolled in the Harassment Prevention course, and 10 are enrolled in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion course.

After October 15th, this organization will have the ability to assign modules from Ethena’s full DEI course library to any of their 50 learners at no additional cost. This could mean enrolling them in the full core curriculum training or simply assigning them 1-2 short modules on key topics during the year.

How can I see how many learners are currently enrolled in each of my courses?

Head to your Admin Hub and navigate to the Dashboard page. Under each course heading, you’ll be able to see the number of enrolled learners, as well as the total active learners present in the system.

In this example, the organization has 130 active learners on Ethena, and currently 27 of those learners are enrolled in the Hiring & Interviewing course.
