Some trainings should only be delivered to new hires, either because they’re part of onboarding or because the rest of the company hasn’t reached their annual training date yet. In any case, the below instructions will help you set up a new hire campaign in Ethena.
- Review these instructions on how to set up a training campaign in Ethena.
-
On the ‘Manage Learners’ step, first add any filters needed for the assignment.
- Example: Should this training go to all new hires, or just those in the US? Should Contractors be excluded? Adding these filters will ensure that only new hires who meet your desired criteria will receive training.
- Then, go to the ‘Included’ tab and select ‘Download CSV.’ This will download a CSV of all of your currently enrolled learners.
-
Next go to the ‘Excluded’ tab and select ‘Upload CSV’ > ‘Add team members.’ Upload the list of previously included users that you just downloaded.
- 💡 Ethena tip: Do you have a batch of recent new hires who are already in Ethena and need to be trained right away? You can mark them as included manually or via CSV.
- Review & Save Campaign.
On the first day of your training campaign, any currently enrolled users will receive a training notification. Depending on how you set up the campaign, this might be nobody! Then over time, as new hires are added into Ethena, they’ll be automatically enrolled into this campaign if they meet the criteria. They’ll receive a new training notification at 10am in their local time zone (this may be on day 2 or 3 of employment, depending on what time their Ethena profile is created).
